How To Use Earbits Android

How To Use Earbits (Android)

It seems like there are tons of ways to listen to music on the go these days. From the giants such as Spotify and Pandora to the lesser known apps such as…you know, those lesser known apps, the days of carrying around your cassette collection are long over. Well, speaking of lesser known apps, let’s take a look at a pretty interesting app called Earbits. How do you use it? Well, I’m glad you asked.

What Is Earbits?

When you hear the name alone, Earbits might sound a bit strange. Aren’t ear bits those parts of the ear that allow you to hear? I’m not going to lie, I didn’t pay much attention in science class. Well, Earbits is a music app with a heavy focus on discovering new tunes. Which, as somebody that once listened to “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga twenty times in a row, is probably a good thing to try out.

How Do You Use Earbits?

Earbits has a pretty simple-to-use internet radio interface. Once you open the app, you can immediately begin perusing some new tunes based on moods, similar artists, or genres. Additionally, you can create playlists based on what you hear. And, in case you tire of hearing the same insurance ad thirty times a day, you’ll be happy to hear that Earbits is totally commercial-free.

Should You Get Earbits?

Earbits is a pretty interesting app. On the one hand, it’s got a very accessible interface. And it’s not often you have an internet radio app that allows you to endlessly skip around without advertisements. However, the song selection seemed a bit bare at times. While it was nice to listen to more obscure artists, the only big artists I saw were Chevelle and Talking Heads. While I enjoy both bands, they would strangely come up way too often amid all the lesser-known artists. With a little tweaking, I could see this being a huge app for people tired of ads looking for some new music. In other words, everybody.
