How To Use Photoshop Express (Windows)

Photoshop is one of those innovative tools we take for granted. It allows us to take an image and totally refine it to show off the beauty of photo editing. And it allows us to it to edit ourselves into pictures of celebrities to impress your friends. Not that I would do that. Anyways, Photoshop is a remarkable piece of software. But what if you’d like to do some photo editing on the go? Well, didn’t you know there was a mobile version called Photoshop Express? Well, you do now. Let’s take a look at how to use Photoshop Express for Windows phones.

What Is Photoshop Express?

The standard Photoshop is pretty much the “Google” of photo editing. As in the name is synonymous with photo editing. I guess I should have just said that. The desktop version allows for very detailed editing, such as magnetic lassos to move around parts of the image and pixel-specific changes. Naturally, there’s going to be a few differences with a mobile version. So let’s take a look at how the desktop version translates to Photoshop Express.

How To Use Photoshop Express

Something Photoshop Express definitely excels at is simplicity. You are given two options as soon as you open the app: taking a picture or choosing one from your gallery. After that, you can edit to your heart’s content. Options such as filters, cropping, and red eye adjustment are available at your fingertip.

Should You Get Photoshop Express?

Photoshop Express is, overall, a pretty good photo editing app. Everything within the application is very user-friendly. Additionally, I was very impressed by the amount of filters and borders available on the app, even though some were only available with a subscription. My only real issue was that, given the well-known nature of Photoshop, there wasn’t too much different from other photo apps I’ve used. However, if you’re just looking to put on a cool filter or do some quick editing on the go, I’d recommend Photoshop Express for Windows Phones.
