Whatโ€™s The Solution?

The most likely issue with your device is that it simply needs a quick cleaning. You see, while our devices can do incredible things such as let us watch the iconic Gangnam Style video (which is still an amazing song by the way), they are also susceptible to dirt and corrosion buildup. Luckily, itโ€™s a pretty easy fix. Begin by shutting your device off. To get rid of dirt, a simple toothpick can dig away some of the buildup in your Lightning port. Additionally, spraying in some compressed air can easily get rid of excess dust. As for corrosion, unplugging and replugging your device numerous times followed by cleaning the port with a q-tip covered in electrical contact cleaner should do the trick. Just remember to wait about half a minute to turn the device back on and never spray the electrical contact cleaner directly into the port.
