There's a very simple way to record your iPhone's screen. In fact, you don't have to use any third-party software to do that. The screen recording function is built into your iPhone. Added to that, you can also record your screen with external sound.

Steps to follow:
โข Go to the screen which you want to record and swipe up your from the bottom of the screen to bring out the โControl Centerโ
โข Then tap on the โScreen Record/โโ button. A 3 seconds countdown will begin instantly. After the countdown ends, the recording will start
โข When the recording begins, a red bar will appear across the top edge of your screen. This means your recording is in progress
โข You can tap that โRed Barโ to stop the recording. After you tap the โRed barโ, you will see a prompt asking โStop Screen Recording?โ. You can tap on โStopโ to end the recording session. Otherwise, tap on โCancelโ to continue recording

How to record iPhone screen with External Sound:
โข Press and hold the โScreen Recording/โโ button from the โControl Centerโ
โข Then you will see a โMicrophoneโ icon. Tap that icon to turn on the microphone of your phone. From that point, it will record external sound
โข Lastly, tap on โStart Recordingโ button
โข If you don't want to record external sound then tap on the โMicrophoneโ button once more. It will deactivate the microphone
Thereโs a chance, you might not find the โScreen Recording/โโ button on the โControl Centerโ. If that is the case for you, it needs to be manually added. Hereโs how to do it.
How to add โScreen Recordingโ button:
โข Navigate to the โSettingsโ menu of your iPhone
โข Tap on the โControl Centerโ button and then tap on the โCustomize Controlsโ button
โข On the next page, look for the โScreen Recordingโ button under the โMore Controlsโ tab. After you have found it, tap on the โPlus/+โ sign next to it
โข In doing so, the โScreen Recordingโ button will go under the โIncludeโ tab. Usually, it will be on the last spot, you can drag it to move to an upper spot if you want to
