How to Set up Auto ‘Do Not Disturb’ Notifications on iOS

donotdisturb

If you don’t want to be awakened in the middle of the night by alerts on your iPhone, then you need to know how to use the Do Not Disturb feature on your iPhone. So, without any further-ado let’s dive straight into this handy feature, shall we?

First of all, you’re going to have to go into your phone’s settings by clicking on the app icon on your home screen. Once you enter settings, scroll down until you see a button that says “Do Not Disturb”. Tap on that button and you’ll enter the settings page for “Do Not Disturb”. On the top of that screen, you’ll also find a slider labeled “Scheduled” which will be turned on.

You’re going to want to slide it to “Off” and in order to reveal additional settings to choose from. Once you have a box will appear which will have “From” and “To” written inside. Click the “From” inside the box and you’ll be shown a slide where you can manually adjust the hour and minutes for when you want your phone to start to disable alerts. Then click the “To” line, where you can then adjust the time for when you want the “Do Not Disturb” to end.

Once completed, to save your changes press the back button which will be on the top left-hand corner of your screen. Press the back button again and it’ll take you back to the settings menu.
There you have it! Once you do this, your alerts will be put on silent and you won’t be disturbed.
