iOS 10 Features We Didn't Really Need
iOS 10 has been out for a while now, and there’s a good chance that you downloaded it, whether on purpose or by accident. (It may or may not have been by accident for me.) And, while there’s been plenty of great additions in the update, we didn’t exactly need every single one. And no, I’m not talking about the sticker emojis. Those are actually pretty cute. Especially that one that has the little dancing waffle. Let’s take a look at some of the iOS features we didn’t really need.
Having Siri Take A Selfie
Now, I understand that selfies are pretty big these days. And I also understand that this little thing called Siri has taken off quite a bit. Well, one of the newest features of iOS 10 allows you to combine the two by having Siri snap the photo for you. While this might be kind of an interesting feature, it really only saves you around one second.
Collaborating On Notes
Note collaboration through the iCloud was another feature that came with the newest iOS update. And, for the most part, that’s not really a bad idea. However, there are already plenty of apps that allow you to do this, such as Google Keep. However, if you’re a loyal Apple supporter, I can understand why you’d prefer to keep it all in this app.
Drawing On Pictures
This is another feature that, while fun, isn’t really the most useful of additions. Apps such as Snapchat have allowed you to doodle on images for years now, so I suppose it makes sense that Apple would add it to their image applications. Overall, all of these additions have their place and I could see people using them. But, in the wide scope of what our phones can do, they’re just not the most revolutionary of additions. That doesn’t sound pessimistic, does it?
