WebToon Android Review
Iโve always been a huge fan of comics. Ever since I was a young kid, I would spend a good amount of time reading the adventures of men with spider powers, leagues that looked to provide the world with justice, and felines that dislike the beginning of the week. However, that was before the time where phones pretty much replaced everything. In those simpler times, you actually had to buy comics or read them in the newspaper. (For you young folks out there, the newspaper was a piece of paper that had news on it.) Anyways, letโs take a look at the Webtoon app for Android devices.
What Is WebToon?
WebToon is kind of like a Netflix for web comics. And yes I know, everyone likes to call everything โthe Netflix of somethingโ. But Iโm calling it that too. So there. The app acts as a hub to provide comics of many genres, with everything from comedy to romance. Additionally, you can subscribe to any comic series youโd like in order to keep up on all their latest releases.
How Is The App?
WebToon hosts a pretty interesting combination of content. I found myself scrolling around just to see the different offerings. Some of my personal favorites were some of the simple comedy comics, which offered a great chuckle. Additionally, the interface made it extremely easy to look through different comic collections and subscribe.
The Bottom Line
If youโre looking for some simple entertainment, Iโd definitely recommend the WebToon Android app. It almost has a feeling of reading the comics section of the newspaper. Additionally, thereโs something very cool about seeing more obscure comic creators get a bit of attention. Even though Iโll probably never be able to draw anything more than stick figures, I can appreciate these great comic artists.
